In June, 2023 I competed in the AAU International Weightlifting Championships and took first place in two different divisions:

• Masters Age Group 65-69, 198-pound weight class
• Lifetime Drug-Free Masters Age Group 65-69, 198-pound weight class

This qualified me to compete in the 2023 AAU World Weightlifting Championships, which will be held in Las Vegas on September 29 – October 1.

Many friends and fellow Dinosaurs have asked if they could help support this adventure, so I’m setting up this special page to let anyone who wishes to do so donate to my World Championship Travel Fund. I hope to cover the complete cost of the trip, including airfare, ground transportation, hotel room, and meals.
